Morocco is located on the upper right of the African Plate.

Based on the map above, Morocco is located towards the top left corner of the african tectonic plate. Despite it's very close position to two converging plates, Morocco has had very few noticeable earthquakes since 1700. Along with earthquakes, there is rarely any hurricanes, or other natural disaster associated with water, that are caused by shifting tectonic plates.

Morocco's climate is usually moderate and subtropical. Also, Morocco is frequently cooled by breezes coming from the atlantic and the Mediterranean sea. Winters are generally mild and summers very hot. The only significant problem with Morocco's climate is that it can vary and change very quickly. Because of the hot weather deserts form and produce only the plants/animals that can survive in the terrible conditions. A tourist would have a higher possibility of injury from the climate than a Moroccan citizen would because, depending on where the tourist is from, the Moroccan would be more resistant to he harsh climate of Morocco. Other than heat and rain there are not very many factors that would alter everyday life in Morocco.
water cycleMost of the water in Morocco comes from rain, the ocean, and fresh water springs. First the water evaporates from the surrounding ocean and then rains on Morocco, leaving the citizens with more clean water because, during the process, the salt is left in the ocean. This country doesn't have an abundant amount of water available. Although, Morocco isn't in any danger of running out as long as they use it conservatively. If action is taken, it will cause beneficial effects to their health, economy, and climate. The ground water is clean becasue of natural rocks and minerals in the ground that "sift" out any harmful chemicals/bacteria. The Mediterranean Sea is north of Morocco. It is an almost completely landlocked body of water that lies between southern Europe, north Africa and southwest Asia. Morocco's western coast faces the Atlantic Ocean. The people of Morocco have impacted the natural water cycle mainly by polluting. Another factor may be any of the following; dumping of harmful chemicals used for agricultural purposes (fertilizer, bug killer, etc), air pollution (greenhouse gases, car fumes, etc).
